He said I would be welcomed as a Night Warrior, but that if I want to make my own family, he would allow it," came Bregedyr's loud voice. "He even introduced me to this girl. Look at her!" Behind Bregedyr came a wide-eyed soft pink colored Nocturne. Her bright green eyes reflected the light of the runes marking her sides and face as did the brilliant sheen of her red wings. Bregedyr excitedly turned to her, scooping up the slightly smaller hatchling and nearly falling to the ground. "Sly, Dama, Orion! Everyone, meet Nimbrethil! She's gonna be a part of my project. Generation 5 - Lineage Closed
This dragon is descended from Cedric and Alder, both outcasts…They would find during their travels that their Filigree allowed them to store excess magic, and served as a conduit that allowed them to access elemental energy around them more easily. It also allowed them to use sources of elemental magic and cast elemental spells that did not align with the element of their birth.
The two of them raised many hatchlings together over the course of time, and while all of their descendants became great at using magic, only those with the Filigree retained the traits Cedric and Alder were most known for. Their excess energy stores and their ability to use any elemental magic source.

All faeries are proud, but the Winter Court is the most prideful of them all... Congratulations on adopting a Descendant of the Winter Court! Cold and unsympathetic, the Winter Court fae are as unmoving as the ice they rule over. Earning favor within this court is incredibly difficult, and those who do find it is far easier to lose their favor. The Winter Court is most well known for granting questing dragons justice, but everyone gets their due in time.
