There is a belief among the mysterious Stareater's faction of the clan that a star can be born incarnate, in the form of a dragon. And the faction believes that is Gioiello. Gioiello came to the clan as a hatchling, but was old enough to understand the adult's murmurings. A star? Like the ones that twinkled above her in the night sky?

Preposterous.

Still, Gioiello had to admit she enjoyed the preferential treatment she received as the 'Starbearer' - that was her title. First choice of food, kind words, and a warm place to sleep was never a negative, as far as she was concerned. Besides, her kind and unassuming personality meant she made friends easily, because despite her elevated status, she was never condescending or unkind.
