 Named after the Aloe Vera Succulent. This succulent is associated with luck and healing probably because of its medicinal properties. They were once known as the immortality plant and had been planted on graves to promote peace before reincarnation. However, the aloe plant can also symbolize grief and bitterness. Vera was sent to live with a distant kin-mate, Lotus. She was handed in hopes to cultivate her agriculture skills but life seemed to have a different idea. The moment she entered the clan, the young hatchling had seemed to be affected by the supernatural energy that surrounds the clan. Her body began to change form, new markings appeared or disappeared from her small body, and her eyes have changed to show the protection of the Gladeskeeper. Lotus worriedly, messaged Vera's father to inquire what could have caused her to react so suddenly upon arriving to the clan. He mentioned of a ancestor of theirs that were known for mutating or frequently changing. Their matriarch was the blessed youngest sister of triplets. He assumed that her transformation was probably triggered by the supernatural energies within Lotus's clan. His theory isn't 100% certain, but it was the best guess he could think of. The guess was fine for her. Vera loved living with her distant aunt and cousin, Hydrangea. Aunt Lotus taught both of them about aquatic plants and how to care for the reef. It was so boring! Over time, Vera noticed that Hydrangea's lessons had started to become more frequent with another relative. Curiosity had gotten the better of her and decided to skip her daily lesson to follow Hydrangea. Vera followed her to the clan's sacred grounds and further, deep within the the graveyard. Gardens of peace and a land that seems so unearthly silent. Vera became nervous until she found Hydrangea with the Undertaker. Hydrangea showed her the various plants around the sacred lands. The medicinal plants that the healers would use, plants that help communicate with spirits and help ease them, to even plants used to help those who have loss. It was all fascinating and soon Vera have found herself learning under Hydrangea and learning how to care for the sacred lands and the plant life. |

I am a part of the Strange Sisters Lineage! Early one fine Summer morning in the Meristema Clan (some might say abnormally fine, not a whisper of a breeze or speck of a cloud), an egg began to quiver. When the first of three finally crawled from her egg, everything changed. She was not... normal. The DNA of these sisters seems prone to unexpected mutations. No one quite knows what the sisters are, and still can't be certain that they don't harbor unsafe magic. Who knows what their descendants will be like!
Medora was born tiny, and remained a miniature Imperial into adulthood, often being mistaken for a Pearlcatcher.
