Void had a carefree and positive upbringing in the Dreaming Spirits clan, but that would change shortly into adulthood. He was a bit too brave for his own good, venturing into dark places without fear or worry, no matter how much the elders warned him. Eventually his carelessness caught up to him when he was found by a vengeful demonic spirit, who tormented and cursed him. His colors faded to dark hues, dragons who were once his friends eased themselves out of his life, and even the plants in his path withered away with his step. His clan was troubled by his new predicament, unsure of how to help.

Sensing that he was no longer wanted there, he wandered off with only his most prized possessions. After wandering alone, he found himself in some mysterious gardens, slinking among the darkest areas thick with brush and shade-loving plants.

Until one day he ran into another dragon, one who didn't seem afraid or offput by him. Persephone was a quiet and reassuring soul, and they became fast friends as they hid amongst the moss and vines. He soon learned that she too was touched by darkness, evident by the spirits that followed her around and spoke with her. She made him feel like he was no longer alone, and what he once believed was a curse could perhaps be something positive.

Forever thankful for her friendship and compassion, he pledged his life to her. He never wanted to leave her side again, forever protecting her and basking in her presence.
