-ABOUT-
Ambrose was born in the walls of the Gaians to Echinococcosis and Rivulet alongside his younger brothers Jay and Barrett. But a curse runs deep within Ambrose’s bloodline, and so does the path to darkness. Jay and Barrett were unable to thrive, and soon, he was left alone. It was a lonely life for the pearlcatcher, but both of his parents taught him well. He learned from Echino the ferocity and danger of life, as well as the ability to stand up for himself, while Rivulet gave him an understanding of the gentler aspects of life. He knew that he would be lonely forever, so he tried not to stay attached.

He was never a follower of Gaia. Yes, he was born there and was raised there for his entire life, but he had aspirations for studying both Sornieth and beyond. That wasn’t going to happen, however. He was not only a valued member of the Gaians but also had the Shade inside of him. Rivulet had almost none of it. Ambrose let it surround him. He wasn’t exactly going to take over the world anytime soon, but he gets hungry. Very hungry. As he grows, he satiates his appetite by learning and practicing his magic.

With a mother completely on board with Sovanna’s aspirations and a parent full of self-loathing and doubt, Ambrose found himself on the edge. He never asked to be born here, yet these are his only friends. His uncle, Hemerocallis, has especially been helping him to explore himself, and he has since been considered a loose cannon by the other dragons. He doesn’t mind. He desires one thing and only one thing. Knowledge.
-PERSONALITY-
A strange, yet focused dragon who loves to learn. Ambrose has always been focused on the way he is perceived. He wears long robes and dusky clothes, combs his mane until it is as straight as an arrow, and he always has a glint in his eye. He takes more after Rivulet than Echino, being very particular and not liking to be interrupted from his routine. This routine, in turn, is the study of magic and the gathering of knowledge. He’s very intelligent and is often curious, making sure to ask questions whenever he can. This makes him rather nosy without him intending to be. Ambrose has few friends and generally stays alone within the walls of the Gaians.

Ambrose does not want to have friends. He’s been cursed to be lonely and any relationship he does make will simply go down the drain. This is simply how life is, and being an introvert like himself, he does not mind. That isn’t to say he is completely friendless. Ambrose can be seen on occasion hanging out with Hemerocallis or talking with other dragons for study tips. He just prefers to keep to himself and be in the distance. He does not talk very much, partially due to his magic making it hard for others to be around him, and partially due to his own preferences.

Like his ancestor, Cavador. Ambrose lets the Shade consume him. It is his life and it is his muse. It gives him an everlasting, all-consuming hunger for just about anything. The embracing of this darkness has given him power, and Ambrose himself doesn’t fully feel like a dragon. He is far more than that, and searches for whatever he can to not only be the most knowledgeable, but also to satisfy the need to consume everything in his path. It is unknown whether he will go on the path of good or evil, but the desire beats in his heart.
