From the moment of her hatching NightSpy was unique, she was her mothers first born and she was called MagicoftheNight. The name and position as daughter of the clan matriarch were not for her though, she was quiet and withdrawn preferring to listen from the shadows and remain unseen. Her siblings left home fairly young and so did she traveling for a time before returning to the Noche Dulce Clan to learn from her father. As her skill for silence and subterfuge grew she decided upon a different name and decided to be as plainspoken as her mother by calling herself NightSpy. She rejected a position of leadership or authority within the clan but agreed to remain as spymaster though the clan had little need of one. Many believed she was merely being indulged until at last the opportunity to prove herself came with the creation of the Princess Academy.

When her mother decided to open the clan to princesses in need, NightsSpy found herself in the sudden pleasurable position of obtaining more information for and about said princesses. She was able to travel more and relished creeping stealthily from shadow to shadow learning whispered secrets and rumors and untangling them from one another.
