Nuit came into the clan's care as a young skydancer, full of potential, he watched the adults around him who trained and danced and shared the sweet secrets of the night with him. Each of them welcomed him into their little family while encouraging him not to forget his own proud lineage. He looked eagerly forward to the day he would be old enough to commence his training, to take up the legacy of his maternal lineage as a Night Warrior. He was told stories of his family and how they had grown to protect so many clans and he was determined to do right by his blood and by his new clan. The young warrior trained daily with NightFrost once he was old enough, but he did not fully comprehend why this particular clan had any need of him. The Noche Dulce clan was peaceful, most of them were performers, night dancers who created beauty and art under the moon and stars. Some of their number went on in service to the deities against the Shade but they were few and far between. The clan matriarch finally explained to him that while it was true their clan was peaceful they were also a sanctuary to royals of other clans and the need for protection had grown as they offered a haven that others might wish to exploit and attack. Nuit realized he would join NightFrost as a bodyguard for the clan and redoubled his training efforts. The lack of a visible enemy, he learned, was no reason to cease vigilance.
