A happy-go-lucky meteorologist who uses their position at the university to smuggle relics and magical items from the Starwood Strand. They do genuinely love their job; spending all day out in magical rainfall and studying, writing about it, reveling in it. But, let's be honest, they also let the rest of the clan think they're a little more naive than they actually are. Who would have thought a cute little puddle-jumper could be a hardened criminal?
The smuggling network has given Careen their next assignment: Receive a set of magical reed pipes (enchanted by the Windsinger himself) and deliver them through the treacherous terrain of the Starwood Strand.
The only problem? Careen is falling in love with Sun, the musician she must steal the pipes from. Sooner rather than later, she will have to break their heart. Is she up to the task?
