Ellie is a writhing patchwork of limbs and other body parts that should not go together, tied up in a frilly pink bow. Think "the Barbie movie," but if Barbie was a two headed biological nightmare birthed from a festering pit of infectious sludge. This cute little biohazard emerged from the Wyrmwound one day, sprouted three different minds inside of two heads, and all three unanimously decided that they needed to relocate somewhere pinker. Fortunately, the Starwood Strand isn't far from the Wyrmwound, and in the mornings, you can see tinges of pink on the horizon.
Along the way, she realized that in both her birthplace and her newer, pinker surroundings, inanimate objects didn't always stay that way. Ellie herself was just a bunch of spare body parts stitched together. Some of the trees in the strand could talk. Sometimes, in the Wyrmwound, a dragon would sprout an extra head (and an extra mind along with it).
She took an interest in sentience. Why did she even exist (all three of her, which is also sort of both of her, and just one dragon)? How and why does a mind emerge? What does sentience even mean, in the first place.
She first stayed at the BrilliantSky clan because she was fascinated with their security guard, a golden statue that came alive to smite intruders. And then, she just kind of stayed. She made friends with the trees. She made friends with artists and tailors. She made friends with Fracture... well, she made more than just friends with Fracture.
