Stygian was the name of a blade forged a long time ago.

Right now, it's the name of a dragon who offers his mercenary services to whoever looks like they need it. The rumours say there's nothing he'll decline; no quest too difficult or dangerous - no task too merciless or foul. The only thing he refuses to do is take a commission from the same dragon twice. If there's something you want done, it had better be the only thing you need from him, because he won't speak to you again.

(He will not allow himself to be wielded again. And if his molten heart cools a little more each time, shedding shards of slag that cool into whimpering hatchlings that wobble after him - well. That's not his problem, is it?)
