The only thing that Sabre cares about is doing a good job. He hasn’t quite defined for himself what that means, yet: is it finding someone to protect, or a cause to fight for? He’s seen what can go wrong if he chooses the wrong thing; he’s only seen his father from afar, but that aimlessness is visible even just in his silhouette, his posture, the way he stands. Sabre wants to do better than that - he wants to be happy with what he is. But what he is... weapon, or soldier? Bodyguard, or friend?
