Lineage

Biography

PROGENITOR.

Name meaning: Magma
. . . . . . eolbr (magma)
the Clan Annals wrote:
"The clan's founding matriarch... a grizzled Pearlcatcher older than the modern advent of alchemy. She "governs" the clan by total assembly."
  • Malak Cazre, or "Coronal Precinct" in Cazric, was so named because it was a district under the survey of the Telzdregh. Which are related to the Cazric, but historically older.
  • Gene scrolls work by containing the "word magic" of that species. This power of words and myths is something that Eolbr held important in her heart.

One must wonder why a clan founded by a Pearlcatcher would be so educated about the plight of Imperials. Why, indeed, does she sympathize and identify with them? Pearlcatchers are sworn to vanity, and envying them, right? Yet you will notice most of our clan is Imperial, and that more of their philosophy is known to us, than that of Pearlcatchers.

Well Eolbr doesn't believe Pearlcatchers are beholden to anything.
She was not born a Pearlcatcher, but it has been so long since her soul has ever been anything else, and she refuses to acknowledge what she once was. She only knows that, what she is now, she chose to be. She does not use her shining pearl to make her soul superior, she uses her shining horn to spill blood. She does not show her pearl to anyone, instead transporting it in a sling repurposed from a cannon. Her pride is not in being a Pearlcatcher, it is in the flame she carries.

Second, she knows she is a Fire dragon; in her memories, she waged fierce battles to make this clan what it is. Yet she has always spoken Cazric.
