The dragon Keziah Mason studied four-dimensional geometry and discovered how to slip between the cracks of three-dimensional reality. She began calculating equations for "strange angles" that would allow her to travel through time and space. Her clanmates, who did not understand such theoretical math, fearfully attempted to put her on trial for "witchcraft." She fled imprisonment by going into the Beyond.

Her undue persecution imbittered her against dragon-kind. She met Nyarlathotep during her explorations, and she did not hesitate to join his maddening ranks. She occasionally helps him with his rites, where she learned actual dark magic. This power gives her a nebulous purple glow.

She makes her home in a timeless dimension loosely "above" her old room. Since she does not age in this in-between space, she can plague the tenants of her old lair throughout the centuries. She occasionally snatches hatchlings and fledgling mathematicians from the area to fuel her personal rituals.
