Gwydion's parents resided as outsiders in Faithful Forests for numerous years. They were dedicated to introducing new nature-bound souls into Sornieth, and in their last nest, birthed Gwydion. As a youngling, Gwyd was heavily influenced by his nameless parents-- and the clan, despite not being truly part of it. He came to love the Gladekeeper and her values and, unsurprisingly, became one of her loyal followers. By the time Gwydion reached adulthood, his parents had chosen to separate from their long-time temporary residence, leaving Gwyd to take charge of his own life. He chose to become an official member of Faithful Forests and take up a classic nature-related occupation: farming. Gwyd primarily focuses on growing greens for his herbivore clanmates, but also engages in growing fruits and flowers on occasion. It's a job he holds with great pride and puts his best effort into every day... However, the same can't be said for his emotions and relationships. Some may blame it on his upbringing or his natural solitude-seeking nature, but Gwydion often finds himself in a place of loneliness. The Gladekeeper provides solace when the heartache arises, though, and farming can be quite therapeutic! |
