The Avariels are children of the Elemental Plane of Air, the descendants of harpies and djinn, tornadoes and typhoons. Children from each sector of society are raised to be one or the other, and once adults, are required to live as the other before they choose which role they wish to fulfill.

I know what you may be thinking and no, not the element. This is a lineage for a pair of dragons, Mallory and Honeydew, who are fighting against an entity that infects the minds of dragons.
