Like the pendant of a necklace, the full moon---glowing a hazy, pearly white---seems to hang loosely from the sky, as if it could fall from its place between the stars from a strong gust of wind, only held in place by the swirling grey clouds. Far below, smoke curls around two figures like an embrace from an old friend, a mirror of wispy grey on land and in the sky. Between the layers of stillness and silence, the mother whispers. They will know poison and secrecy as well as I. The father nods, clawing at the dirt. They will need it, he replies, shuffling the Five of Swords back with the others. The Eight of Swords can represent feeling trapped and signifies terror, powerlessness, and persecution. However, the overall theme of this card is that you are the one keeping yourself in this situation, the swords depicted in the card are surrounding you but you can take the blindfold off and walk away at any time. This card also represents consequences and judgement which may take the form of trial by jury, imprisonment and punishment. May, the Moon of Flowers Witchborne dragons under the Moon of Flowers are skilled with herbology, making them skillful potion brewers, may it be a remedy for toothache or a poison that slowly stops the heart and makes the discoverers believe that the victim had died in their sleep. These are the dragons whom most would care to thread around, even if most Witchborne are good in potion-brewing as it is a taught and required skill for them to have. These dragons born under the Moon of Flowers are the epitomes of this deadly art, as it is their uncanny ability to be able to know without any fixed measurement the right amount of an ingredient needed, for saving or otherwise. Element: ARCANE Rarity: UNCOMMON Due to the fluctuations of magic that Witchbornes bear, it seemed that dragons born under this particular element wielded energy-based magic far better than most. After all, Arcane was just as close to Chaos. |
