Abyssal

One of the Founder's children, Abyssal can often be found accompanying his parent in their flights about the cavern, or alongside Rosedust exploring the deeper depths of the Crystalcrag to take notes. He has an adventurous spirit, but unlike his sister, he seeks to explore below instead of going above.

Abyssal has always known something was... off about the Crystalcrags. Sure, he's lived there his whole life, but the other dragons always felt something was wrong, and he could tell that
the entity that often hung about them was hiding something from the rest of the Clan. Determined to figure out the secrets of this place, Abyssal gladly accompanies anyone who decides to venture deeper in, and takes his own careful notes. He scribes maps for clan usage of the cavern, as well as several private maps of his own discoveries on his own time. Many fellows have wanted to see, but he shows very few, because from what he's heard, there's a reason they're kept to their zone...

• Closest with his sister, Stelaine, as she also carries the same exploratory spirit. While she wants to see the world they come from, he wants to learn more about the secrets of this odd cavern.
• Rather close with Deepscale, his brother, for their shared fascination with the deep. Deepscale often tries to prevent him from going in deeper, though; he's frustratingly cryptic about it, though he supposes that he's not aware that he already knows...
• Has talked frequently with Mistseeker, although initially to attempt to try and figure out the place's secrets, it's since become more of a casual friendship. He's come to understand that there are Things Out There that could very easily hurt the Clan, and that's why they're confined; although he's still determined to explore, he figures he'll do it... a little more low-key.
• Has trekked the farthest into the Crystalcrags out of the entire Clan, and knows the main areas rather well. He makes small maps of wherever he goes, but out of respect for the local Deities as well as the safety of the clan, he hasn't made any findings public.
• Bottomfeeder is a fish that slipped in through the crag's gap, and ultimately Abyssal chose to pick them up. They mostly hang around the clan's larger pool, though sometimes Abyssal will take them to other areas of water with him.
