Shor was born to this particular clan, but has spent his life wandering between it and others, going on grand adventures. Those adventures might not have suited his companions, but the desire for excitement tugs on his soul, leaving him with no other choice. He is not exactly a wanderer, but he is an explorer - always seeking new and exciting experiences, and always delighting in retelling the tales later. Sometimes he spend a season with another clan, sometimes he wanders somewhere new, and sometimes he doesn't even have words for his adventures. Either way, he always returns some eventually, always wearing a playful smirk and always ready to tell others about his journey.

Shor is a mischievous creature and something of a jester. He's the type of dragon who will tell a joke at anyone's expense, but will always laugh and smile to help take the edge off afterward. He doesn't believe in censoring himself, and he's well-known for seeding his stories with commentary on issues that mean something to him. Of course, he's also well known to exaggerate, but nobody wants to call him on it. Diminishing the stories themselves would diminish the magic, wouldn't it?

In spite of this playful and jeering side, he takes his position as clan storyteller more seriously than most things. He is protective of his position and doesn't care to have his authenticity or his methods questioned, though he's always quite civil about it. He also had little patience for hatchlings outside of his actual work, since they tend to pester him with unwanted questions and disrupt his performances with their childish antics. The sooner they grow up and learn some etiquette about theatrics, the better!

His seriousness catches some off guard, but it makes sense when once considers his vocations. Shor had spent years traveling, and that's no simple task. Beneath his playful and outgoing exterior, there is a hardened adventurer. A serious string must run through anybody who so often leaves the warmth an safety of their clan in order to go experience the world.

Shor has a good eye for detail, something which has always serviced him well in his storytelling, but also in other ways. His aesthetic tastes are well respected, and that attention to detail also earned him his closest companion. One day during his travels, he noticed that a large rock was sitting strangely in the mud. In his curiosity, he turned it over to find a winged snake with large eyes, looking imploringly up at him. Well, he couldn't quite resist it's charm, and wouldn't coming home with a winged snake make for a good story? The creature soon became a good friend, though he's a little bit daunted by how large it's grown. Having it coiled around his neck during performances certainly adds a touch of class!
