Sprinkle was born in the tundra in a town called Nevia, which sports the largest university in all of the ice territory, known as the Spire. His parents were both professors there, and his whole life he had been raised with the expectation that he would attend and, eventually, teach. It was an expectation he carried easily--he had an aptitude for magic that even outweighed his parents, and he enjoyed the act of study and research itself almost as much as he liked actually learning. He was young when the gaolers emerged from deep beneath the rock and ice. There had been rumors this far north, but that's all they were--rumors. A new/old species of dragon? Absurd. It wasnt until the hulking dragons themselves arrived in Nevia asking about Shade activity in the area to the stunned locals that anyone believed it was possible. Since then his interest haf shifted somewhat. In his adult life he applied for a positiion in the Ice Sanctum, which he got, and left home to continue his studies there, focusing primarily on the ley lines and their affect--if any--on the activity of shadebeasts. There were gaolers there, working as guards and watchdragons, and their mission fascinated him. When their term on the Sanctum was up, rather than traveling back to Nevia to become a teacher at the Spire, Sprinkle continued Southward, to the Fortress of Ends, to offer their unique knowledge and study of shade to the Icwarden himself. They were taken on as a Keeper, and eventually assigned the apprentice Tetai.

Keeper:
Dragon dedicated to dissecting and studying the power of shade beasts. Flip a coin. On heads, they give a random dragon an extra life. If tails they do nothing. This check is repeated any time a Seeker returns with a shade beast.
You must roll a d20 for them each day. On a 1 they manage to cause an accident. Roll a 1d4 to see what happens.
1. They are attacked by a shade beast in their care and are exalted or lose a life.
2. They release a minor shade beast. Roll a 1d12 for every dragon in your clan. On a 1 the dragon is caught in the explosion and is exalted / loses a life.
3. They release a shade horror. Roll a 1d6 for every dragon in your kingdom. On a 1 the dragon is exalted / loses a life.
4. The shade beasts are kept in check, nobody is injured.
