Biography

Akali

  • Affiliation: Purring Winds

  • Role: Alchemist
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
  • Gender: Female

  • Pronouns: She/her

She's a zombie. She's also an alchemist, and a damn good one at that. In fact, she is the Purring Winds' main alchemist, and takes pride in that role. If you need to brew some materials, or need to combine them into a little something, she's your guy- er, gal.

Akali always had a talent for alchemy, and a curiousity that would get lesser dragons killed. Well- she was no lesser dragon, and she eagerly took risks in her alchemy, knowing full well what to do in case something went wrong. Her mate, Kyle, would always be happy to help her clean up with his magic, anyway. Not to mention how interesting it was to dump some of his magical creations into the cauldron, just to see what would happen.

Ah. But you know what they say about those why fly too close to the sun.

So yeah, maybe she got acid sprayed all over herself. Maybe said acid mutated her a little. Maybe it did kill her, and accelerated the rotting of her corpse. Accidents happen all the time! Her mate has ties to that Doc of Status Quo anyway, and he can bring the dead back to life! Which is what he did for her, of course.

... Okay, so maybe she came back a little wrong. Maybe her speech is lilting and drawn out with moans and groans, maybe she's covered in boils, fungi, and patches of rotting flesh, and maybe she has a second mouth in her throat now. She can still do her alchemy just as well as before! It's not like she's eating anyone's brains, she wasn't that far gone when Doc brough her back. She eats plants and meat just like any old bogsneak.

Huh? That's not comforting? Oh well. She can still make a killer brew not even Baldwin would dare to make, so who's the real winner here?
