FIRST NEST:
Sion hadn't yet known what Leontina was when he'd sired this nest, though he soon found out. Rather than bring more cursed children into the world, once he knew what they would be, Sion had tried to smash his own eggs to keep them from hatching. Good thing Mama Leontina was there to keep that from happening...

SECOND NEST:
Still devastated by the betrayal of the woman he trusted, but unable to turn to anyone else now that she'd cursed him to be as her, Sion could only find comfort in Leontina. Of course, as is the nature of such comfort, Leontina soon had yet another clutch of eggs. This time she hid them well, and Sion was none the wiser...

Sion had a great deal of anger towards Leontia, her betrayal of him and the hiding of their last nest. But he learned something since that time. Regardless of the curse that ran through their veins, the hatchlings born of him and Leontia were still just children. Right and wrong was something children needed to be taught, not something children were born knowing. Leontia certainly wouldn't teach them, so it was up to him. He tracked down the hiding spot of their next clutch of eggs, stealing them away in the night and hiding them himself, hatching them in secret and teaching them all her could to prepare them for when they left on their own
