Vermillion is an odd Tundra - being from the Firelands, and still having all his fur intact.

He had developed a way of keeping cool, by focusing all the heat in his body into fiery bursts as his magical attacks, or just to lower his temperature.

He migrated down toward the shadow area due to it still being too hot for comfort in his homelands, where he encountered and eventually befriended Akasha. He pairs well with her, as he complements her hunting with his gathering skills, and can be fiercly loyal when need be. Plus, a fire-breathing tundra is definitely a sight to see, as an ememy.

The stigma of 'slow dumb furry tundra' is something he still fights against, but luckily he is accepted as any other dragon within the clan.
