Uh-oh, looks like this cinnamon spring wandered a little too far from his home lair [598205, Schiraz], and now he's off to see the world!

If ever you feel the need to exalt, he'd really appreciate it if you could just return him to the home lair, or to the 'Dragons Off To See The World' thread, here. This is not necessary, but he would be very grateful!

I would love it if you added the symbol of your element to the list below and the date on which he came to you! ^^

All the hatchlings stared at him with wide eyes listening, and some of the adults, too! I know he's restless and will want to go back on the road as soon as possible but for now we're happy to enjoy his company."

I even have a daughter now, Driscoll, though I'm not sure how much of a dragon she is. Her mother, Tussard, is a curious magical thing and I'm still not sure how it all came to be.

Anyway...

It's good to be back home and rest a little, and share the experience with everyone here, but I'm eager to get back on the road as Hex said. Sitting in one spot is not something we Spirals do eagerly after all."

I decided not to question how he got past the guards and accepted the offer, and by golly, his pastry skills rival even the most skilled of chefs. I offered him a job at the royal kitchen almost instantly, but he declined without providing a reason why.
He may be a bit strange, but his desserts sure are like no other!

I've never been courted with cupcakes before and it was wonderful! Cinnamon swept me off my feet, not literally of course, and we had a brief whirlwind of a summer vacation together tending our five egg nest here in my home, the Inevitably Unmannerly Mockingbird Paradise. We parted on fond terms and I would love to see him again someday should he find himself wandering back this way.

"Wow! it's great to see another traveling baker! i've since settled down, but Cinnamon was so interested in learning my recipes! im glad i was able to share my "Curious Strawberry shortcake" and "Tanglewoods chocolate cookies" recipes that i learned on my own travels.

He also taught me how to make cinnamon rolls, i can't wait to add them to the menu!"

I was a bit apprehensive at first, letting a traveler work in the kitchen could have a number of problems, after all. But now that some time has passed, I'm thankful that I allowed (albeit, reluctantly) Cinnamon to help me.

I can bake, but I haven't ever dedicated much thought or effort to it, and so it was an enlightening experience to have such an accomplished baker teaching me his secrets. Obviously the cinnamon rolls were the popular item, but I was surprised at how useful sourdough is.

Cinnamon showed me how to start and use a sourdough starter, and told me that the benefits of baked goods made this way are tenfold! I wasn't aware that the body can only digest most of the beneficial substances present in flour if they are broken down first and allowed to ferment some. Apparently this also means that in some cases, those who normally cannot eat bread can still enjoy sourdough bread! I'll have to give it a cautious try for our members who have that problem.

I wasn't sure what to make of Cinnamon at first, but I have to say, he bakes the best pastries I've ever had! Those suckers gave me enough energy to get through a whole performance - I didn't even stumble as much as I usually do. He's a real miracle worker, that Cinnamon. I hope he passes on some knowledge to my kids when they hatch...

Of course, he's not staying forever. Few ever do. It's been fun helping him out with the little stand he opened in the Hearth District, though. Turns out dragons pay more when they get some entertainment with their food. I get paid in pastries, so I'm not complaining! Boy, I hope Cinnamon has a good time wherever he ends up next. They'd better treat him right if they know what's good for them!
