It is customary for young Avariels to consult with diviners near the time of their birth, or before important turning points in their lives. The old practice is slowly taking root in Sornieth. The diviner rattles their satchel, shuffling the runes within before spilling them across the table. They read only those that are face up.

Rokkvi was born under the glow of Elistraee. Those born in such circumstances are known for their adaptability above all else. The largest rune revealed is the Physicality Rune. This implies Rokkvi has inherited their penchant for poisons – or so his more cutthroat ancestors would claim. Expertise in poisons is all but guaranteed for Elistraee’s favored, but the truth is their skill expands to all realms of potion making and many sects of alchemy as well. It is a finicky science and an even more temperamental art, but the best potion makers can miracles happen.

Two smaller runes deign to explain his future.

In the realm of spirituality, Rokkvi will have the most consistency. Spirituality refers to Rokkvi's place in the loom of fate, as decided by the deities - those of Avariels, and Sornieth alike, and his connection to them. This can mean he will live a charmed life in the eye of their favored deity, or he may catch the attention of a capricious fate-spinner. What’s good will remain, and what’s cursed will persist. Fate will push hardest against attempts to change this aspect of his life.

In contrast, the most volatile aspect in his life will be career. Career refers to his progression in their chosen field of work, including life, growth and development towards an end goal of his choosing. He is advised to hold tightly to the best parts of this aspect, because it is only a matter of time before they disperse.

To complete the reading, one close to Rokkvi selects the final rune. Miyu, his mother, finds the rune for love, bestowing the most sincere blessing in the eye of fate.
