Cel is one of the more gentle souls in Faer town. She's a plant lover, frequently consorting with Vale and the farmers of Faer town. They're more of a gardener than a farmer or a forager, with their plants serving as a hobby, not a source of food. That doesn't mean she doesn't help with food, as their strong nature magic is a boon to the farmers when she visits them. She's beloved by almost all of the town. Almost. Benzal absolutely hates them, and she hates him back. Benzal isn't a particularly well-liked dragon, but this goes beyond that, especially strange since their respective partners, Kelly and Allura, are quite friendly with each other. Their mutual hatred seems to stem from the contrast between Benzal's Plague beliefs and Cel's, uh, Nature nature. Any conversation that goes beyond basic greetings will inevitably turn towards this fact. Cel and Benzal's relationship serves as Faer Town's miniature of the centuries-long conflict between Plague and Nature (a comparison both find offensive, for surprisingly similar reasons), and residents know to steer clear whenever these two cross paths.

Regardless of that, Cel's work for the town has gotten her attention. She's gotten offers from the Mage's Guild to join, or at least assist a bit. She's turned them down, as well as refusing payment from the farmers for her contributions. Cel doesn't want anything grand, they just want their plants, their partner, and their friend Max.
