Charge: The Blackmoon Lair

Despite his old age, Aszhar stays in good shape so that he may retain his position as the Head Guard. He's quite proud of his job title and refuses and he has a right to be; he's earned it. The Guardian was once an average warrior with goals of being a leader, so he participated in the Revolution and soon after discovered that his daughter, Sombre, was to be the clan's first official Overseer. After that he requested that Oracle Kyomi let him be a guard, so he could protect his daughter and his clan at all times.

Aszhar is rational and level-headed, always doing what is most beneficial to the clan. Very set in his ways, stubborn and wary of change. He walks with a proud and confident gait, that of a dragon who is aware of his power and influence. He isn't so great at expressing emotions or showing affection, but he cares deeply for the ones he loves and would die to protect them.

Overseer Sombre is Azshar's only child who remains in the clan. He is overly protective of her at times, but he only wants the best for her. In his heart he absolutely cherishes her, though affection is not displayed nearly as often as it should be. Azshar is a busy dragon, after all.

While on guard duty Azshar seems to be biased against Light dragons. He keeps a watchful eye on every one of them and is the first to punish them when they step out of line.
He hates Roujia Starspeaker and Jericho Sunscorn, the original leaders of Blackmoon, plus the clan's Light leader Quatre Whitefang.
