Amren has seen more than her share of hardship. She doesn't like talking about it, and she keeps her blade sharp. She often accompanies the researchers on their tasks, keeping an eye on the strange creatures from the other side while they take samples and readings. Her job is made difficult by the constant harassment of an Aberration from the Voidleap clan. She is wary of him, but in the end, not wary enough. She is pushed into full-body contact with the surface of the Portal. Stunned, she falls into a heap on the ground, knowing that this will cause an escalation of conflict they can ill afford.

When she wakes up, Eclipse is minding her. And although he's too busy to spend a lot of time with her, she is pillar of support in his mission. Little does he know, her conviction in his cause is merely a cover for her own dark motives. The spite inside her has solidified, and she is ready for the end of all things.
