Sooth (she/her) Sooth is one of the founders and leaders of Faer Town and its clan. Plan-oriented and socially adept, she is the main diplomat of the clan, working both internally and externally. She also manages trade, working with her son, Rot, to ensure trade deals both profit the town and please the other party. She manages inter-village relationships, fields the frequent complaints towards the Mage's Guild (this is Bunny's job, but she does a terrible job, according to Sooth), and also registers arrivals and departures from the town. Sooth is socially skilled, that is known. Where Babel fails socially, Sooth succeeds (Sooth often succeeds where Babel succeeds too, but splitting responsibilities is practical). Manipulation, some would say, is just a natural part of social interaction. Sooth would not say that. She wants to think of herself as someone who just "influences" individuals, but the line is thin, and she worries about whether she is considering others' needs. Sooth is, at her core, not very flexible. Her work requires her to "expect the unexpected", which she does, but anything truly unexpected trips her up massively. She can be a bit stubborn sometimes, but her worries usually win in the end. She is also quite the collector, having one of the largest hoards of the clan.

When Babel had calmed down after his...hunting trip, he had offered to take Sooth to wherever he had been. They both left the following night, and had returned the following morning, just like before. Sooth now boasted the same glowing eyes that Babel had, but with no new patterns, and a feathered cloak instead of a lyre. While Babel had come back hysterical, she had come back calm. Far too calm, considering. And while Babel came back hopping, a habit that seems to have stuck, Sooth came back flying. Or more accurately, hovering. Her wings were faster, more nimble than ever, and her agility in the air went from alright to unheard of. It's rare now for her to be grounded anytime she's not sleeping, something she seems to be doing less of. Negotiations go smoother than ever. Glowing eyes, in a head held by a hovering body, perfectly still, are very hard to argue with. But even so, she's still the same dragon at heart.

...Mostly. The eerie calm seems to have stuck.
