Uh-oh, looks like this goldfish-brained boy wandered a little too far from his home lair (569097, cwimsqn), and now he's off to see the world! If ever you feel the need to exalt, he'd really appreciate it if you could just return him to the home lair, or to the 'Dragons Off To See The World' thread, here. This is not necessary, but he would be very grateful! If you don't want another traveler in return, you can also drop him off at the Traveling Dragon Rest Hub! But Zaulen is also looking for a forever home! If you'd like him and think he's travelled far enough, feel free to keep him as long as you notify his original home, cwimsqn! |

Zaulen is a very scatterbrained dragon. Oh yes, it is very much "no thoughts, head empty" with Zaulen. One thought is there? Gone the next, I can guarantee it. However, despite his attention span being that of a goldfish's, Zaulen isn't completely a lost hope. Paradoxically, Zaulen has one of the greatest long-term memories ever. It's just his short-term that lacks. But like his siblings Hikaru and Eira, Zaulen had the urge to get up and go - just like their father thought when he told them of their mother. So, the little chaotic goldfish-brained child that was Zaulen desired to leave his home that was the Kingdom; leave his biological father Wisp and other mother Borealis and go out and search for his mother. But even he was aware that leaving him alone was a terrible idea, so he packed up with his sister Eira, Hikaru having already left with another traveler. Soon after, the duo set off. Now if only Zaulen could remember where they were going... When Zaulen made his way to Crow Callers, he encountered Madrigal, a fellow travelling dragon. Due to Madrigal's tendency to fall asleep easily, she also had the occasional lapse of memory - the two of them decided to stick together, as a result of this. When it was time for Madrigal to leave, Zaulen realized he couldn't quite remember who she was; "Who are you again? I think your name was... Mary?" Zaulen was frustrated by his lapse in memory, but Madrigal was quite understanding, thankfully. He hoped his memory would be able to come back around again. He stayed in the clan for a few days afterwards, getting to know Shadowplay, an Aberration with similar lapses in memory - well, he mostly talked to the head known as "Shadow". When Zaulen was about to leave the clan, he wished Shadowplay an opportunity to figure out what was happening with his memory, and also hoped that Shadow and Play would eventually get along again. Maybe along the way, Zaulen would figure out why he often had trouble remembering things as well. (write about Zaulen's travels here!) |
