We must learn to live in tandem with the world that will be our very undoing."

A pale and elusive creature, Frigg is a gentle soul more often felt than she is seen. She serves as the Dreamer's prophet, allowing her queen a glimpse of what may be yet to come, and has accurately predicted the arrival of some of the clan's greatest allies. The Dreamer trusts Frigg's visions second only to her own, and, as such, she is often called to judge the dragons who find their way to the willow to ensure that their intentions are pure; to displease Frigg is a sentence as certain as one's final breath.

Yet, alone in her abyssal pools deep beneath the willow tree, Frigg's mind grows dark. Her primordial gaze displays her true allegiance well; once, Frigg called the Sea of a Thousand Currents home. Her family resided in a small cavern deep on the ocean floor, cultivating the bioluminescent flora that grew there. They were peaceful giants, offering help to those who needed it, and steering clear of any disputes. Frigg was the daughter of the eldest dragoness there, gifted with primal sight to foresee events before they happened. She helped guide her family's actions, protecting them from those who would wish to harm them, focusing their efforts where they would be needed most, and, when blessed, preventing certain disasters before the waves would begin to recede as their only warning. The sight of Frigg’s iridescent scales glimmering in the abyssal depths came to onlookers as both a feeling of safety and harrowing fear, for their arrival would always be followed by the incoming catastrophic destruction they warned of, but the spark of unyielding terror in a creature’s eyes as they realised that their life would be forever changed in only a few short hours was a worthy price to pay to prevent needless death.

Then, one day, Frigg woke up alone.

It was as if they had never been there. There were no memoirs, no tools, no beds or belongings. When she raised her head, the only voice Frigg heard was her very own mocking her as she called out, and, as she moved through caverns once teeming with life and
thrumming with the energy of her loved ones, there was nothing but the dripping of water from the lichen above that blanketed the cave ceilings and her own breath echoing in her ears as loud as tidal waves crashing upon the shoreline.

The gift she was bestowed only became her worst nightmare. When she turned to her visions to offer some insight as to where her family had gone, Frigg only knew terror. Her lungs suddenly rejected the water that filled them, begging for air as they burned, and leaving not even enough room for the prophet to scream. For the first time in her life, her heart was filled with pure fear as the element she was born of turned on her, and now threatened to take the life it had so readily given - so far from the surface as she was, there was not even a glimmer of hope that, if Frigg’s visions were the reality they felt to be, she would live to understand their meaning.

Withdrawing trembling claws from the pool she used to focus her intention immediately relieved the bloodcurdling symptoms, and, as she scrambled as far from the pool as she could to lay upon a pale green bed of moss, Frigg’s terrified tears only joined the waters around her, as if the ocean would not even allow her the ability to mourn for the ones she had lost.

They had drowned.

It was impossible.

Water dragons couldn’t drown.

…Could they?

- Has a very destructive form of water magic that she seldom uses, but is able to draw up water from the deep springs of her home to purge anyone who might be a threat
