Biography
Self Hatched Double, Only G1 with colours, One-Off XXX
Well, that's a One-Off Triple in a Blue range. That's...very very close to my triple Overcast dream. W o w.
Quote's from Sir Edmund Hillary, the New Zealander that climbed Everest in 1953 with Tenzing Norgay. If I ever sell this guy trust me it would have taken a LOT of persuading because I love him ;v;

No one has heard the beast of the mountain speak. It is ageless and silent, wandering the frozen storms that waltz at the summit with little sign that it can be touched by cold or warmth. The land itself is harsh, cold all year round and allowing naught but a few beleaguered shrubs. The only life that stirs - asides from the rare small, simple settlement tucked against a rock face - are perhaps the footprints of a hare or the whisper of a snowcat as it slips into its den. They say it is a ghost, the settlers. Some dragons see the mountain as a challenge, and wish to scale it to prove their worth. These explorers never last long. The hardier ones are the children of grandparents who either were forced to the mountain or came to it seeking answers in religion. The aftermath of a few generations, learned to the ways of the blizzards and avalanches. They stay silent when the adventurers gossip about the beast, for only they can glean some truth. It is known that the beast of the mountain prowls the higher altitudes, wandering in an aimless path but rarely deviating from a certain handful of miles. It is known that it comes down, the strange blue watcher of the night, down from the peak to pad along dragon roads and peer into the settlers’ canvas tents – though it is not known why. And established is a tradition, started even before the first pioneers, a ritual of leaving offerings to the beast of the mountain. Anything is accepted, from food to currency, left in the entrance of the deepest, darkest cave on the settler’s side of the mountain. It is a place too high up for animal scavengers, and secret to outsiders. The offerings are always gone by morning. Sometimes, in the dead of dark and winter, when the night is clear of snow or storm and the moon is bright, a voice can be heard. A crooning, shapeless howl echoing from somewhere farther up the mountain. For some, it’s a comforting noise, a sign they aren’t alone. For others, it’s enough to invite insanity. None can hear it clearly enough to understand it, or guess where it may originate. For no one has truly heard the beast of the mountain speak. _______________________________________________________△ |

Mount Everest (Nepali: सगरमाथा, romanized: Sagarmāthā; Tibetan: Chomolungma ཇོ་མོ་གླང་མ; Chinese: 珠穆朗玛峰; pinyin: Zhūmùlǎngmǎ Fēng) is Earth's highest mountain above sea level, located in the Mahalangur Himal sub-range of the Himalayas. The China–Nepal border runs across its summit point. Its elevation (snow height) of 8,848.86 m (29,031.7 ft) was most recently established in 2020 by the Chinese and Nepali authorities. Mount Everest attracts many climbers, including highly experienced mountaineers. There are two main climbing routes, one approaching the summit from the southeast in Nepal (known as the "standard route") and the other from the north in Tibet. While not posing substantial technical climbing challenges on the standard route, Everest presents dangers such as altitude sickness, weather, and wind, as well as hazards from avalanches and the Khumbu Icefall. As of 2019, over 300 people have died on Everest, many of whose bodies remain on the mountain. The first recorded efforts to reach Everest's summit were made by British mountaineers. As Nepal did not allow foreigners to enter the country at the time, the British made several attempts on the north ridge route from the Tibetan side. After the first reconnaissance expedition by the British in 1921 reached 7,000 m (22,970 ft) on the North Col, the 1922 expedition pushed the north ridge route up to 8,320 m (27,300 ft), marking the first time a human had climbed above 8,000 m (26,247 ft). The 1924 expedition resulted in one of the greatest mysteries on Everest to this day: George Mallory and Andrew Irvine made a final summit attempt on 8 June but never returned, sparking debate as to whether they were the first to reach the top. |
