Everest

A distant descendant of the courts that once ruled the Icen island, and probably one of the few still alive. Everest is the heir to a few of the ancient stone towers across the area, and maintains a small library full of salvaged records from the former town and its history. A quiet and reclusive figure, he knows the ways around the icy structures and keeps many of the keys that once were used to unlock the doors of the barren settlements. He initially refused to cooperate when venturing visitors arrived for the first time in years to the island, but once he heard news of a gaoler tearing though the doors of a locked workshop they were trying to enter, he facilitated a copy of the keys to the crew.

Profession: Count of Frigost, AKA the knuckles of Frigost.
Personality: Distant, high maintenance, responsible, introverted. Prefers to wallow alone in his misery.
Relationships: No close ones besides his butler, Dove. Amicable relations with the gaoler clan of the area and its matriarch.
Name origins: An infamously high mountain, which is difficult to reach.

Residents that spend the entire year within the county of Frigost and it’s associated territories. Families and descendants of the buried West Frigost settlement and new migrating groups reside in the now more lively and recently reconnected to the world town.

Traders, venturers and sailors that frequent the County on a cyclical basis.

Either born here or residents for a long time that have departed to other lands, or have not been heard from in decades.

Frigost, in its relative obscurity seems to be a favored hotspot for many groups of lawless dragons. Even when the travel route and memory of Frigost was lost to the wider world, the existence of the island was a known fact among icefield pirate circles far before being officially “re-discovered” by Dragonhome sailors.
