☾ Icarus ☾
He was born in Shadow but raised in the Adamas Realm in Arcane where his parents lived as nobles. Icarus was aware from a young age they wished for a daughter to lead a house of Blood Moon Dancers. While it hurt at first, he held no ill will against them for it. As brave and strong as the young dragon was becoming, he was aware he wasn't leader material; his impulsiveness had gotten him into trouble many times as a hatchling.Impulsive | Brave | Protective  ━━━◇━━━

| Icarus trained hard as he grew up so when his sister was born he could properly protect her and serve as her second. This training also served to show his family's devotion to the realm and kept their noble status in good light. His parents were proud of him even with his tendencies to get jump before he looked. His life of luxury was something he fully enjoyed and made even more lavish as House Gemini was constructed. It laid close to the castle like most of the noble houses but resided underground to provide secrecy to them and their clients—their biggest however was King Tantris himself. For his and his family's loyalty to the king, they'd only grow wealthier. Icarus was constantly proving his worth yet always pushing himself towards seemingly impossible goals in order to maintain the pedestal his family was placed on. |
The whole family was in for a surprise when not one but two daughters were born who could lead House Gemini. Icarus was protective of both his younger sisters as they grew up but it was Valkyrie who would form a stronger bond with him. He didn't try to show favoritism, but Sylvia was much more independent from the start and preferred doing things on her own rather than spend time with him or her sister. Valkyrie on the other wing loved training and learning from him. It wasn't a clean break for his sisters, as both wanted to lead the house, but in the end Sylvie left to form her own rival house on the border of Arcane and Earth while Icarus stayed in the Adamas Realm to lead House Gemini with his sister Valkyrie. The two trained together and he works to train the incoming dancers as well. It's very unlikely you'll find one without the other, as they tend to balance each other out when making decisions. Icarus, while officially the second, is unofficially known as the co-leader of the House. He doesn't lead directly, and would never wish to hold all the responsibilities of that, but won't hesitate to help and support his sister with their work. So far, it has been a very prosperous business for him and his family. |
