☾ Valkyrie ☾
She was born in her parent's second nest and was raised with her siblings by her parents and older brother. From right out of the egg she was giving a life of luxury that the life of a noble in the Adamas Realm gave. From early on, she was taught how to act as a member of the noble class and knew the high expectations for her. In the beginning, her and her sister Sylvie learned most of these lessons together, as either of them—or both—could go on to lead houses. | Valkyrie's battle training started once she was old enough, as did her sister's. Icarus often aided in their training, though it was clear she was much closer to him than Sylvie. The sibling pair even began forming their own fighting combos. Valkyrie tried to get her sister to join them, but it was clear Sylvie wanted nothing to do with them or their training; her sister often worked to do things on her own. She didn't mind too much, as in the end only one of them would be able to claim the head of house for House Gemini. At some point they would need to say farewell to each other. Valkyrie loved her sister like the rest of her family, but she wanted to claim their home as her base of operations. |
When the decision was finally made, it came as no surprise that Valkyrie was the one who was to lead House Gemini with her brother. The two were close and by working together proved to be stronger. A strong head of house and second would make their business even more profitable. It wasn't long before her sister disappeared to form her own house elsewhere. As the new, undisputed head of House Gemini, Valkyrie has taken on the responsibility of leading her house as well as working with their main client, King Tantris. While he isn't the only one House Gemini is willing to do business with, he calls for their services the most frequently. With his favor and pay, Valkyrie knows her house and family will never live a life of discomfort. |
