Moon Oracle • Gen 2

Vega was born in the Arcane region but was raised by her family in their home flight of Earth. It was an interesting time growing up, especially being an outside element to the area. Her form wasn't quite... normal either. The radioactivity in the Arcane region seemingly mutating her DNA to from another set of wings and multiple eyes. Being Plague-red, many dragons assumed she might be a Plague dragon at first glance, though she didn't actually possess any Plague magic abilities. The young hatchling leaned into these fears however and took amusement in their reactions.

Her bloodline only made her scarier to other young dragons. She, like her grandparents, received visions foretelling the future. Vega often saw things relating to death and deep down it scared the growing dragon at first. Not all of them were violent, but these things were still morbid and seemed like an intrusion to other dragon's lives. Her parents, mostly her mother, helped her with learning how to control her abilities and aided in guiding her through interpreting them. Overtime, they became less scary and more normalized for her. The fact she could control them made her feel better as well.

As a young adult, she left her home to search for her grandparents. The journey was difficult given they were travelers but she knew their last location. Starting from there, she followed them based off rumors and mentions of traveling oracles. Sometimes she even got lucky and got a confirmation they were indeed Moon Oracles and not some other seer. Finally finding them, Vega took to learning from her grandparents and helping earn gold and precious gems.

Eventually she met her mate, a pearlcatcher named Mason. She'd looked into his future and was slightly alarmed at the danger and death that seemed to follow his own family. He'd seemed saddened by the news and she tried to provide some reassurance. He seemed interested in hearing more about her family's abilities and so she told him while he told her his own story. The two became close and when it was time for her family to set off again, he joined them. Vega couldn't have been happier about that and the two would go one to expanding both of their lineages.
