Eyes

Eyes always wondered why his clanmates hesitated to interact with him; or gave him odd looks. Perhaps it was his tendency to stray off from the clan during the night time. They most likely had suspicions about him. He knew that the night time was for sleep, but something about the night time always kept him awake. He would always stray off from the Wyrmwound to go look at the night sky. Although, it wasn’t the stars that intrigued him: it was the moon. Something about its beautiful white glowing radiance always drew him in. He would sit there for hours on end, seemingly conversing with himself… But he was in fact conversing with the moon. He said he could hear it speaking to him, calling out to him. He said that everytime he decided to sleep versus watching the night sky, the moon was not visible. His confused clan mates didn’t believe a single word he said, of course, until they too started noticing odd occurrences. Everytime Eyes went to sleep, there was an cloudy overcast. Everytime he was awake at night, the moon would be visible as clear as anything. Only one dragon, Artemis, believed his words. She spoke of similar tales, and the difficulty of trying to sleep at night. With the combined powers of Artemis and Eyes, they were determined to get the clan to believe their tales. One day, a new message was delivered upon the 2 of them. A blood moon would be happening the next night. Eyes and Artemis tried to convince their clan of this occurrence, but nobody believed them. That is, until it actually happened. Fearful eyes watched the night sky as the moon did in fact turn red the next night. The dragons were filled with questions. How does this happen? How could they have predicted such an event?

They were never doubted of the validity of their claims again. After predicting many more natural occurrences involving the moon, they were titled the “Ambassadors of the Moon,” believed to have direct ties with nature, focused mainly on the moon.
