How to Save Gems by Tove:
  1. Don't buy anything.
  2. Stop impulsive buys.
  3. Haggle for dragons.
  4. Keep all of the nests full for free dragons.
  5. Buy hatchlings for 3-5 gems and sell adults for more.
  6. Sell the unhatched eggs and buy the dragon you want.
  7. Buy dragons already with genes - less projects.
  8. Trade dragons with others and everyone is happy.
  9. Set a gem limit you're going to spend.
  10. Don't compare yourself with others; you're doing great.

Q2. Will you give me treasure/gems/items?

A: No, I can't give you anything other than the knowledge of how to do things for yourself (see question #1). My dragon collection has taken away all of my profit and I still haven't broken my impulsive buying tendency even after having specific dragon color themes (which is very expensive; IE., 2,500G-5,000G for projects).

Q3. Will you buy my dragon?

A: I will buy your fodder dragons at 3-5 gems each, please send by private auction if I have space.

First generation dragons must not be bred and have these colors:
Maize, Antique, White, Moon, Ice, Silver, Dust, Grey, Smoke, Aqua, Spruce, Pistachio, Seafoam, Mint, Sanddollar, Flaxen, Ivory, Sand, Tan, Beige, Stone, Taupe, Driftwood, Latte, Hickory, Tarnish

Q4. Why did you buy my dragon only to sell it again?

A: Sometimes I flip dragons for a profit and sometimes I sell at a loss depending on my mood. I have sold some permanent dragons because I wasn't sure I wanted them anymore and I knew someone else would enjoy them.

I earn currency by breeding and selling dragons. I am an impulsive buyer and seller. If you want dragons that are in the sale tabs, please let me know. I very rarely exalt dragons anymore but when the dragons get purchased from the Auction House, they may be sent by someone else to the deities with great honor.

Fodder Dragons:
  1. Fodder can be found in the Roost and Visitors tabs of the den and lair.
  2. Fodder may be named "Gem" if they come into my possession without names.
  3. Fodder will be sold for 8-15+ gems each depending on dominance pushes.
  4. While I appreciate your thanks for me buying fodder dragons, it isn't necessary.
  5. Please be sure you sell the dragons at the prices you want from the beginning and not at the fodder floor.

First Generation Dragons:

Selling G1s: Lair (various prices in the Auction House or in labeled tabs).

I have had a lot of first generation dragons over the years, many of them impulsively bought or I've found for collections that I've no longer kept. I have spent hours in the Auction House looking for the shiny dragons and then not being content with what I own. I go between thinking of owning too many dragons and also not having enough dragons. Currently there are a few dragons for sale in the lair but most of them are available inside the den sale tabs (SG1s).

Q5. What is your gem/treasure ratio?

A: The ratio for purchase is 1G/1,000T.

Q6. How long will you hold a dragon I want to buy?

A: I will hold the G1s for you in a private auction but please be sure you really want the dragons before I take them out of the den. If the private auction runs out, please let me know if you are still interested in the dragon and your progress.

Q7. May I haggle for your dragons?

A: Yes, please give me offers (not asking how low I will go).

Q8. May I sell the dragons I bought from you?

A: The dragons are in your lair now, so you may do what you would like to do with them. Dragon Ownership - Flight Rising only recognizes the current holder of a dragon as the owner. What does this mean? It means that once a dragon has left your lair, it is no longer yours.

Q9. Will you trade dragons with me?

A: I'm not interested in trading dragons for art or items. I may trade with you if you have first generation dragons to add to my collection. I sometimes ask people if they want to do dragon trades. Thank you for responding whether or not you would like to trade.

Q10. Could we be friends?

A: I really appreciate you wanting to be friends but I don't accept random friend requests. I occasionally purge my friend list from inactive players. If you want to stay in touch, please contact me reminding me of who you are. I chat with people in the forums, on profile pages, and in private messages, so I am sure we will see each other around the site. Please remember people are behind the pixels and the Golden Rule. Thanks for visiting my lair and den.
