Hallowcoal
The Fire Brawler

Hallowcoal, his biological brother Sweetmint, and the light Tundra dragon Paaske were raised as brothers. Hallow and Mint were the first Mirrors born to the Clan, and Paaske the first Tundra.

Though not technically the oldest of his brood, Hallowcoal very much acted like it as a child and young adult. With aspirations to be a Clan leader someday, or at least play some role in its decisions, he felt he had to be bold and brash and unafraid of failure of being shot down. More of his ideas were marked by inexperience and poor forethought than not, however.

Hallow often tries to get his brothers more involved in Clan politics, which they find irritating, but getting him out of the group and on a hunt reveals a much more relaxed, charismatic dragon. He does appreciate his brothers' skills, but sometimes needs to be reminded to express that admiration.

Toward the end of Hallow and his siblings' teenage years, Fireglass brought home a tundra dragon named Atanarik. Though Auka intended to stay only a short while, she and the three brothers became good friends. As they grew into adults, Hallowcoal and Atanarik's feelings for each other only grew, and eventually the two became mates. Hallowcoal put his political ambitions on hold for a while to take care of his son Ghostbone, afflicted with a condition that makes him dangerously lethargic, but came back to the field with a cooler head, greater patience, and, perhaps, more true wisdom.
