 Cast Off: Take Me Away - SirenaSirena is descended from a long line of prestigious warriors but never got to know her true parents. She was sent out to train in the coliseum from a young age, and her early life was filled with fighting and fleeing until Butterscotch, captain of the Nereid guard, found her and took her in, continuing to train her while finally giving her a home. When she reached the "peak perfection" of level 25, she found her warrior lineage again and was welcomed into their halls as one of the Hundred Warrior Descendents, but ultimately rejected them to remain with Clan Nereid. It was Queen Amphitrite's idea to officially adopt her into the clan by naming her the royal princess and next heir. She gets along well with her new parents, though she was adopted as an adult and understands that the biggest reason she was brought into the family was political, not for love. Despite her warrior lineage and training, Sirena can be a bit of a ditz. Officially, the story goes that she found Aden drowning in the ocean and rescued him; truthfully, she spotted Aden adrift in a rowboat, cast out of his crew, and accidentally sunk him by getting in a spiral knot around his boat. |
