"As Plague, I will spill my blood as a blessing, not a curse."

Ulcifet and Time escaped together from a clan slowly being taken over by plague. Her own birthright as a plague dragon lent her enough resistance that helped her get both herself and Time out before either became too sick to move, but she left behind both her first mate and three hatchlings. But Time smells like Friend, more like Friend than even her hatchlings did.
…She misses them. But only a bit.

Euryale at least seems friendly, and everyone else seems to have accepted these strange newcomers. That big black Imperial though keeps looking at her and though Xinashumii says he's a prophet, she's worried.
Don't worry about the dripping magic. Time said she'll take care of it. She always does.

Time's ritual has mended her leaking magic. But her new body is different from what she's used to! The ground is much closer and she's nearly twice as long as she used to be. But Moros offered to support her whenever they're around and Torrigan's trying to teach her how mirrors work, so hopefully she'll get used to it someday. With the scout's help, it sounds like she could help their gathering team maybe.

Even though she no longer eats plants (which she sometimes finds disappointing, because they still smell good!), she helps the gathering team harvest wild plants that won't grow in Kerria's garden, or when her harvest isn't ripe yet. She also works with Natalica to keep any eye out for useful herbs and Bistromathic for any seasonings he wants in the kitchen.

As she slogs her way into the tunnels after gathering, a timid voice comes from the darkness.
"Ulcifet?" She swings around to see the rescued drake from Shadow waving at her stiltedly. "Ah….. the fae told me to….. ask for your help." He waves a paw at Permetior, whose facial fins flap in greeting, and her face brightens.
"Oh! My mate. He wasn't too rude, was he? He can get that way if he's overstimulated." The skydancer stares at her as though stunned until he realizes she wants an answer.
"Uh, no, it was my fault… He said you could help with…" He gestures in the air as words fail him but she understands, even if he can't vocalize it. He must mean sensory overload, like she and her mate both sometimes get from having been tundra once.
"Oh, no problem! Sure I can help you with that. I bet Permetior can too, even if he's a bit coarse about it." She sticks her long tongue out at him and he frills in indignation. "Come back to one of the private dens with us! I'll show you how it works." The drake's face turns even darker (and hotter in her heat vision) and she almost laughs. "What's your name?" At this, he freezes.
"…..I don't remember."
