Quiet and reserved in nature, it was always easy to draw parallels between Phantom and her mother. She even seemed to experience many of the same nightmares that her mother experienced as a child, but their similarities stopped there. While her mother rejected the thing that haunted her nightmares, Phantom embraced it. A Disoriented Spirit is permanently latched onto her now, and with it a part of herself has been lost in exchange for the raw power it bestows her with. Her given name has been wiped from the memory of both herself and all that have ever known her, and she's adopted the alias of "Phantom" in it's absence, seeing as how she often finds herself feeling like exactly that; a ghostly figment of the imagination.

Phantom was born in the deepest part of the world to a clan whose members are as varied as the flights from which they hail. She was one of four eggs from Osprey and Ruse's second clutch, the other three being Blair, Hoth, and Mirage. For the early portion of her life, Phantom and her siblings were cared for primarily by their father in a neighboring Water clan. However the depths of the sea are a treacherous and savage place possessing of an unforgiving undertow and precious little light. While many wonders are said to exist in this unbroken twilight, it was certainly no place for a young dragon to thrive. As such, Phantom and her siblings were encouraged to following their calling out into the world, no matter where it might lead them.
