Gill

Gill is a passionate guitarist in a band called Bardic Inspiration. He and his bandmates and crew live on an isolated island whose location is so secret, they have to blindfold visitors so no one ever knows where they live. He doesn't usually write the lyrics to the songs, leaving that part to Pumpkin the vocalist/keyboardist and Crash the drummer. There was once someone who inspired him to sing, but he missed his shot with him. Is it too late for them, or can Gill's new song bring them back together?

Gill came out swimming, able to breathe underwater because of his mother, but unable to do more than glide in the air due to the reduced wings he inherited from his father. He was born an introvert in a clan of super intense extroverts who wanted to always be together and found his only solace in music, fascinated by his father’s harsh anthems and tender chords. When he began asking questions about identity and heritage, his father showed him where he was from. This led to Gill meeting Pumpkin and Crash, and them forming a band together.

Key
An oracle who lives alone near Inspiration Island, Key swims alone because they prefer it that way, but they are always happy to delve into the future for someone else's benefit. Key and Gill bumped into each other while swimming one day and realized they met for a reason. Key divined that Gill would meet his soulmate soon, and a week later Gill met Soul and completely didn't catch the connection until it was too late. Now Gill makes frequent visits to his oracle friend, asking the most ridiculous of questions to try to get the future he wants. Key doesn't mind because they've grown lonely, but they'd never admit it.
