Calla Shadowclaw, a dragon in self-exile, began a new clan on accident. Her job in the old world had been to raise hatchlings in a place where parental love was unnecessary and dragons were meant to be loyal only to their leader. There was no room for interpersonal connections, and love was seen as fleeting and childish. She came to the Cave of Lost Souls by chance and found many abandoned eggs, and through the years abandoned dragons found her there too. Their hatchery is now a clan, and though she didn't want the title, she is revered as a queen once again and seen almost as a goddess. Her children are seen as royalty at the very least, and though she tries to tell her clanmates that she is just a dragon, it brings them more comfort to believe in a false idol. In the end, all she wants is to soothe every lost soul. If they want her as their goddess, so be it.
