Biography
DRAUGLUIN
Conduit of Her Will
"Much have I seen... and yet little do I know."
Conduit of Her Will
"Much have I seen... and yet little do I know."
One of many born to Pythia the Lazarus Witch, Draugluin was fortunate to inherit her talents as an Oracle. He trained at her side for a long time before breaking off to walk his own path. He was always an inquisitive youth and though it is buried beneath a cold outer shell, Draugluin remains a seeker of wisdom, philosophy, and most of all, secrets. Before he became a Councilor, Draugluin met a young dragoness, Thuringwethil as she was about to undertake the Trial. When it became clear she would succumb, an overpowering urge swept through him and a soft whisper bade him to intervene. He has since claimed Thuringwethil as his mate, knowing to the depth of his marrow that The Mother has a purpose for her. Bloodline of the High Oracle wrote:
All descendants of Pythia with pastel, bright, faceted or rare, with the element of ice, water or lightning. Are renown oracles, prophets, and commune to The Mother. Also considered her True Descendants if they follow in her steps.

Entourage
THURINGWETHIL should be another failure of the Trial; dead and forgotten. Through Draugluin's might alone does she live. He asserts that in those crucial moments The Mother spoke to him, bidding him to intercede and then claim the Wraith as his mate. Many disbelieve him, but dare not say so to his face. She is his, for better or worse. |
THELXIOPE never doubted that she, the firstborn of Draugluin the Oracle, would pass the Trials. The fulfillment of her expectations ended there. Unlike her sire, she did not obtain the rank of Necromancer. Already she intends to take the Trials again, self-assured that eventually she will succeed and be on the path to inherit the Oracle's power. It will be a hard lesson learning that not all are meant for greatness. |
MAIZAN pitted himself against Draugluin, when they were much younger, with the intent of proving his superiority; he failed. Rather than take Maizan's life, the Oracle offered him a deal. Intrigued, the Crow accepted. Now, he operates in Draugluin's territory, monitoring the borders, ever watchful for signs of trouble. He reports directly to the Oracle, though he is rarely seen preferring to remain solitary. |
AZRAEL came to the Wyrmwood intent on undergoing the Trials and then returning home to an elevated status among his rookery. That is, until two events thoroughly and permanently distracted him. The first of which, was his unlikely friendship with Draugluin and the second, was meeting the lovely Mazikeen. Since then he has remained among the clan, his old life long forgotten. |
MAZIKEEN did not originally meet Draugluin, but his mate, Thuringwethil. Infected by a strange disease, she sought out the Necromancers, but could not gain an audience with the Oracle directly. Over time the two became allies and Thuringwethil arranged a meeting with Draugluin. His vast knowledge allowed Mazikeen the opportunity to overcome her affliction by undergoing the Trials. Upon her survival, she swore her skills to Draugluin, though deep down her ultimate loyalty lies with Thuringwethil. |
