QUAINTANA
She-Wolf of the Undercroft

Like many Crows, Quaintana intended to undergo the Trials, claim whatever power she could, and then return to her birth clan. However, many strange things happened to her while she was fighting the plague and while she remains uncertain of what was and wasn't real, the encounter left her forever changed. At first, she had no idea what the fever dreams were trying to tell her, but she knew she couldn't leave the Wyrmwound until she found out. She came across another Crow, Maizan, and began training with him. When she finally spoke of her visions, for she had no other word to describe them, he told her to seek out the Oracle, Draugluin. Her conversations with Draugluin and his interpretations of Mother's Will put Quaintana on her current path as a Hunter and Reclaimer. Since then she has captured and slain dozens of errant ghouls. She has also formed what the clan fondly refers to as "The Pack", which is a group of followers who assist in her hunts. Quaintana is a stern, proud individual. She leads by example, never backing down from a challenge. Though she is allied with Draugluin's clan, it is with The Pack that her heart truly lies. She often treats outsiders, including her own offspring, with a firm chilliness until they have proven their strength. xxxxxxxxxxxx

She rarely votes against Draugluin not because they are from the same clan, but because they often of like mind. When they don't agree, she has no qualms taking a contrary stance.

RUNAS surely would have perished had he not caught the attention of Quaintana. Right away she could tell he was suffering and intended to put a quick end to him. Runas summoned every ounce of his strength and fought back with surprising ferocity. Impressed by his will to survive, Quaintana used her power to save him. In gratitude, he swore his life to her and has served her ever since. |

STRIGA is the illegitimate daughter of Quaintana. Once regarded with disdain for her inferior bloodline, she surprised everyone, her mother included, when she emerged from the Trials a full blown Necromancer. Since that day, she has had Quaintana's favor. |
