Biography
This Bio is mostly an incomplete collection of odds and ends.
Crystalline preservation of life and wonder. Eira is the peaceful silent snow, blanketing her domain - a still and sparkling scene of wonder. She is also the dance of snow winding around itself on the wind and glittering in the light. The laughter of snowball fights and the graceful glide down snowy hillsides and across frozen springs. She is also the cool and refreshing taste of ice, crisp and invigorating.
A frozen and timeless beauty.
Her kingdom is a haven in the cold that reflects all the wonder, charm, and delicate artistry of each snowflake. Including the delight of snuggly soft furs and cozy nights by a fire, cuddling in against the cold with the ones you love, telling stories full of magic and wonder. All with the enduring strength of permafrost that twinkles like diamond stars.
Eira's name means both "merciful" and "snow" depending on which ancient texts of lost cultures you go by. While she respects the purpose of the Icewarden and his guards, her regal nature has gained her a following of others who long to appreciate the artistic beauty and spiritual experiences tied to frost, ice, and snows.
It is a different life away from the Icewarden's prison, one a few guards have been known to appreciate on their rare vacations. Khelek used to be one such guard. After a near-death experience made him re-evaluate his life, he retired here. Like others before him, he now serves to protect Eira and her haven.
She has worked together with the deadly Shiva, but neither speak of their various encounters. There is rumor they may be sides to the same coin, one more merciful than the other.
Eira has other connections that should go in her story, but the above is just a rewording of lore created for a thematic share that doesn't include characters like her mate, and whatever tale lies untold there. I will eventually flesh it out.
