Wow thanks so much for expressing so much love about so many of my dragons! I’m pleased you enjoyed your visit and I understand needing to put off the den dragons. It does take a while to do full strolls through huge collections and this thread’s given me plenty of practice for breaking up huge strolls - for starters even with tiny lairs now I write these posts in googledocs first and take breaks as needed (or forced by rollover mid-post lol). Which is not me saying if I can do it - quite the opposite - it makes me more understanding when someone really can’t (whether that reason be time or the ability/patience to stick with one topic that long).
I enjoy it and find it relaxing and a nice spread of positivity and good vibes at the same time, so it’s not a chore for me - but I wouldn’t dream of acting like everyone else should feel the same. Also, I’d prefer people enjoy their trips to my lair, not chain themselves down to what is probably an overwhelming number for many. All that being said, subsequent visits are welcome, secret visits and likes are welcome.
If you decide you’d like to tackle my den at some other point, you’re more than welcome to go again. I may not find new dragons to star when I reply, but I’m sure I can find enough dragons to do new spotlights and return compliments on :D

Cirrus is definitely my newest darling, zie still needs to be added to my signature dragon list and post of faves. Zie was also SUPER expensive for just the dragon alone (compared to what I’d typically spend - worth it though). I’d originally only intended to have 2 of this subspecies but my dumb genderfluid self (because what even is gender any more?) bought two gen1 boys to breed together, so then of course I needed some gen 1 females to go with them both except the females that hit are all super expensive or slightly out of colour range (and also way more expensive than the boys were, but I digress). I feel the expense was worth it!
I’m also super pleased by your compliment to Clea, I feel like she spent her first few weeks here getting overlooked and now she’s up to 20 stars as of this writing! She was a total impulse buy to get 3 flaunt/flairs for that theme week, so I can’t take credit for the gene combo - it is gorgeous though and I don’t regret the 70 gems spent on her.
I’m also pleased with the reception on Shemyaza and his lore :D It’s very encouraging since I just looked some things up about fallen seraphim and threw a thing together inspired by it. I have plans to expand that lore and related stories/dragons in the future.
Thalassa was my excuse to finally use Amphitrite - such a gorgeous skinscent.
I knew I had to do that yellow multigaze for my first mooncatcher like a glorious harvest moon theme and I’m super pleased so many people love it as well. You’re the first to compliment the name Trice for her familiar and while neither was technically made for the other, Trice was indeed named for her (as well as chosen to go with the theme of 3s, one of my favourite numbers as a nod to her and her two triplets,
Opherian and
Selxia).

Kaimelar’s accent...yeah, that piece really made that dragon. Originally I got him just to be opposite the full colorrange of a subspecies with
Almarea and went looking for an accent to make me like him more (this was before starmap/constellation were a thing - he used to be crystal). I found that one and paid SO MUCH for it but 100% worth it, had to have it for him asap. No regrets.
And Mischief. Mischief is the pride and joy of my
Jewelry Box Fae for sure, I’m so happy with how he turned out, even if I can’t claim credit for the gene choices and XYX pattern as that’s part of the subspecies. I too am very picky when it comes to crackle (I assume that’s what you meant by
”that gene” lol), but I just love the JBF subspecies, it really works on them with their concept.
Also, you probably did see them around elsewhere, I’ve been active in dragon share games for months now, almost ever since I came back from my hiatus/low activity period back in like April or May. This tells me some of yours might already be starred too because I stealth star pretties all the time from forum games.
Wow...that’s a lot of words before I even visit your lair - sorry, you caught me super chatty. Gonna bold the next line so you know where my trip through your lair truly starts lol.
Enough rambling from me based off your compliments and on to my adventure through your lair!
First I read your clan front page lore and such. It was fun and interesting! Also I was very amused by your story of how you began playing flight rising to begin with. I got roped in by one of my partners who kept asking for my input on creating dragonsonas for the characters we write together. They finally pulled me in and gifted me with many pretties, including versions of our main trio they had bred up or in a few cases been able to buy outright and gene up (Ehrendil, Renawyn, Tulosa).
I, in turn, got my other partner involved who
also is a massive Pern fan who chooses th to end all of his keepers names with lol (I like the Pern series for sure and may one day have fan dragons from it). I told him you do the same a moment ago and he was tickled to know about someone else with the same naming convention.
Moving on from there I found 467 to hand out stars to in your lair and den - about 5 of those already had a star from seeing them around before in other games and what not. About another 5 of those were for bio plans on currently ungened dragons. I have...SO MANY tabs still open from which to choose my favourites for the spotlight exchanges. Too many to name - at least 30 (went a little cross-eyed trying to count all those open tabs lol. Let’s see if I can narrow that down to a more manageable 15 to name and 7 to spotlight lol.
Like you, a lack of likes on a dragon from me is not a dislike or any fault with the dragon - I definitely don’t take lack of a star personally, nor do I mean that I dislike the dragon when I skip the star. All dragons are good dragons :D and sometimes tastes do not align (slime/sludge are a hard sell to me for example, though the first example in your lair got a star anyway lol). I definitely prefer the take away that the fact not every dragon was starred means the ones given were completely genuine, that the person actually looked and thought about each one, making the stars that were given mean something.
15 tabs open from which to choose your return 7-dragon spotlight: Bracketserth, Gentleneth, Saaquilath, Velleriyth, Ayemyth, Sinlarra, Gwentoth, Nameleth, DeathAdder, Yaelacheth, Mahimatath, Routinth (it’s super rare for anyone to get a male bogsneak on my final list, much less in favour of so many other lovely and interesting dragons to choose from!), Nargestesth, Ikunochimth, and Cloudsofth.
Alright, I’ve got that list down to 9. Honorable mentions of the two I’m about to agonize over before closing: Saaquilath (best use of a turban ever seen!) and Velleriyth (adore those colours and the toxin split in particular with that accent, very striking!).
This is the year I discovered a new found love and appreciation for pretty chonks and this one is certainly a beauty! I absolutely love her soft colours and how every piece of apparel blends together for lovely shades of purple, green, and blue all over. The stand out pieces here are definitely the succulents and creeping chitin cuffs - absolute perfection on the whole!
I adore this dragon’s rich colours from both dragon and accent. The ethereal flame candles are absolute perfection with it and her eyes really stand out too! I love the rest of the apparel too, that was just the standout piece with her colours. Also, bio art! And her familiar is a nice match :D Her lore was also both interesting and amusing.
Mahimatath here is an absolute gorgeous combo of red and white that I actually don’t see a whole lot of on the site, even after running this thread for 2 months worth of lair crawls. I absolutely love it, she’s gorgeous and wears the garnet flourish apparel and crimson feathered wings so incredibly well. I love her!

might be the first time I’ve featured a dragon wearing the quilted toy genes of either type. I’ve liked more than a few, but this is the first time I’ve seen them put to such a visually interesting use. I think the fact it is only the wings with that accent and hat that really sells it to me. Even with grey-green patches the whole thing comes off as artistically stylish overall. This dragon just looks super interesting.
His bio is amusing. Most mothers are thankful when you eat your peas! Lol
The next 3 are an absolute tie for my absolute favourites in your lair:
I absolutely ADORE this fluffy pirate! And now that I”m taking a closer look I realize she’s actually wearing an accent! She’s wearing it to perfection. I love her colours and she’s so visually interesting to look at. I think the colors, bandana, accent, gold alchemy earrings, and cutlass combined just make for a wonderfully striking appearance in particular. The feathers add back in some purple too, boots balance the legs color-wise, pretty purple claws and wingtips. All of it. I love her.
Wow. Just wow. What a gorgeous, perfect figure-skating unicorn. There isn’t a single detail or apparel piece about her that I don’t love to the point I can’t even point to what my favourite apparel choices are.

and also sapphic - be still my heart. I love her. What happened in these winter games????!!! Ephermerath also almost ended up on the list of names, she was an open tab among the 30.
They are side by side in your lair, this gives me hope that this sweet, lovely, shy beauty got her girl. Also given further hope by the rainbow ribbon in Ephemerath’s bio too.

All that aside, I’m just gonna stare at her a bit longer before I head back to my own lair. That one detail in the bio finished me. Unless the pirate lady is gay too, Cloudsofth is my fave.
