Biography
"Bind thine mouth and say no more!" the drake called as Ravi blazed out of the room, a small fire igniting his back frill as a flaming blast shot his way and singed him. He tried to cry out in pain, but no sound escaped his throat. The wizard must have cast a silence rune upon him! In a split second, Ravi decided to find Ozone first. There wasn't time to fetch the Seasonwakers; they would never be quick enough. Ravi, though, had a chance.
He crashed through the halls, taking turns wildly in an attempt to reach Ozone before they did. He remembered that she was heading towards the library, and he hoped that she still was. Just as expected, the green wyrm came into view as he took another right. She looked over in surprise towards the chaotic drake bowling her way.
Ravi leaped forward with all his might, opening up his arms as he barreled into her. The window shattered.
A voice yelled angrily from above, but all Ravi could hear was Ozone's screaming and his own beating heart as it sped up far past the usual rate. Wind spiraled around the two as they dropped like a rock downward.
"ARE YOU INSANE?!" Ozone shrieked into his ear.
Ravi flinched but watched the ground coming closer. He spun around and placed Ozone across his back, where she promptly gripped his neck in fear, then he spread out his legs.
The ground shuddered and Ravi slammed against it. He felt dizzy at first, but the feeling wore away as his previous fear came back. Ozone wasn't safe.
"What did you do to my powers?" Ozone asked shakily, sliding off of his back.
Ravi turned around and yanked her into the shadow of a building.
"What the-" Ozone started, getting loud again.
Ravi slammed a hand over her mouth and craned his neck to look upwards. Ozone began to shuffle away, so he grabbed her and held her still, despite her struggling. She began to kick and hit him fiercely until he pinned down her limbs as well.
A dark figure was standing behind the broken window, peering downwards as it looked for its prey.
Ozone, of course, took no notice of this, instead glaring with pure hatred at Ravi. When she saw that he wasn't even looking at her, she got even angrier and continued to try getting away. Ravi was holding her down securely though, so Ozone's efforts were futile.
The shadow moved away.
Ravi finally released Ozone.
Ozone pushed him away. "What on Ompa is going on here?! What did you just do? And why are my abilities not working, you fiend?"
'Escape,' Ravi wrote in the dirt, his talons trembling.
Ozone looked at it, still upset. "Talk to me! Escape what? You're gonna be in so much trouble when I tell Olive about this. I'm sure Autumnwalker will be very displeased as well."
'You are in danger,' Ravi scribbled quickly. 'Go now.'
"What are you yammering about?"
'Danger now," Ravi emphasized, tapping the dust fiercely and giving her a serious look.
Ozone stared at the markings, then glared back up at Ravi. "You're crazy." She turned to walk away.
A moment of panic seized Ravi--her return to the castle would only ensure certain death. I guess we're doing this the hard way. He hefted Ozone onto his back again and she released another gasp, then he started to run. Ozone was going to hate him. But then again, she pretty much already did. Ravi would explain everything later; maybe, just maybe, she would forgive him.
