 The White Shadow ''Looking at him, one might have thought he'd been a dancer in some previous, faraway life; so fluid and catlike were his movements that, for fleeting moments, the dancer became indistinguishable from the || ❤ || Often described as a bit of an enigma by those who first encounter him, Castienn is by nature rather aloof and reticent, rarely speaking his mind to others and preferring instead to linger silently on the sidelines of whatever situation there is at hand. Within the clan, he is best known (and silently admired) for being extremely lithe and graceful - he tends to move silently and agilely no matter what he's doing or where he's going, and it's been said of him more than once that his actions are almost dance-like. However, he is also quite infamous for being exceedingly wary of others whom he doesn't know well, and he often cannot stand even the slightest unexpected physical contact - when cornered or otherwise caught by surprise, he tends to lash out instinctively at the perceived threat, and he does it so quickly that more than once he's unintentionally injured the unfortunate intruder. Castienn's only known relative is his elder brother Typhon, whom he seems to idolize immensely; his usual diffidence rapidly melts away when he interacts with his sibling, and - when given the opportunity - he can be found lingering in the other's close proximity, content to just be there. Other than Typhon, Gabriel is the only other person in the clan whose company Castienn doesn't seem to mind, and it's clear that the two of them share a strong friendship - Gabriel is the only one who can swiftly and effectively keep Castienn calm whenever someone else gets too close for comfort, and threatening Gabriel is the surest way to arouse Castienn's long-buried lethality. |
