 The Stirring Windsong “He seemed to have taken the serenity from the lush verdant surroundings, the green trees and the quiet lake - taken it all and had swept it up into himself. His appearance and manners were gentle and peaceful, as tranquil as the water and the wood - and when he spoke, his voice and words were melodious, as lilting and as light as the breeze through the trees. For all appearances he was the perfect gentleman, a scholar out of some picture-perfect poem. But beneath that polite exterior one could never hope to pin him down, no - just as the wind blows where it will, stopping for neither time nor tide, he tended to do exactly as he pleased, going where he wanted and rarely staying where he didn’t have a mind to. His heart yearned too strongly to be turned.” || ❤ || Determined and tenacious, Jesse’s presence in the clan is infamously inconsistent - he often disappears for weeks on end, and comes back afterward never mentioning where he’s been no matter how much he’s questioned. He is extremely talented at skirting his way out of interrogation, and often comes across so glib and charming that those attempting to weasel information out of him find themselves completely confused and mentally disoriented. Because of this, he is not usually considered terribly dependable, but - when a particularly dire situation calls for it - he will readily leap into the fight to protect his clan, often at great cost to himself. |
